Halls Harbour
Hall’s Harbour takes its name from a rather disreputable character. Samuel Hall, a Cornwallis settler, left Nova Scotia for New England in support of the American Revolution. He descended upon Hall’s Harbour in 1779 as part of a privateer crew that set about raiding Planter settlements in the Annapolis Valley.
